Trip Leader
Temporary, Part-Time, $15.00 per hour

Multiple languages required – Spanish & English (French a bonus)
Excellent communication and people skills
Upbeat, enthusiastic, friendly, confident, charismatic
Honest, responsible, punctual and reliable
Good, clear speaking voice
Comfortable with public speaking / presenting
Love teaching, talking to and working with people both young and old
Excellent storyteller and ability to hold audience’s attention
Outdoor enthusiast
Ability to organize oneself and others
Ability to think on your feet and problem solve
Handle stress without appearing to be bothered
Attention to detail
Exceptional host, leader, performer & overall great travel companion
Focus on exceptional quality interactions and creating great experiences
Must have a deep respect and appreciation for Canadian Indigenous Peoples
Willing to follow dress code
Strive for excellence
Curiosity about the world, a youthful attitude, energy and desire for fun

Work conditions
Outdoors, extended walking
Must be able to carry a 40lb backpack

Bachelor’s degree or diploma (completed or in progress)
Valid First Aid / CPR certification (or be willing to complete training)
Have knowledge in or willing to learn about positive psychology
Basic understanding of experiential learning principles

None required (training provided)
Previous Service Industry experience an asset
Indigenous heritage an asset
